It’s time to welcome Winter here in Old Town!
As the trees lose their leaves and snow begins to fall, our district is excited to show you all of the exciting holiday events we have in store for the community.

Your opinion counts, so let’s make Old Town shine brighter than ever!
Recap of Scrooge Scramble
Another fantastic Scrooge Scramble is in the books!
Old Town had so many runners and walkers join us for our 16th annual Scrooge Scramble 5k. Participants had a great time dressing up and making their way through the course. A big shout-out to the runners, organizers, and volunteers - your contributions made it a huge success!
Small Business Saturday!
Small Business Saturday was a huge success!
Old Town was busy with plenty of regular and new customers looking for unique gift items, and they were also able to enjoy seeing all the shops decorated for Christmas. There were even a couple of Krampuses who joined in on the fun! We are so grateful for everyone who decided to shop small with us and we hope you found everything you need to get ready for the holiday season.
Krampus is almost here!
Head down to Lansing’s Old Town neighborhood this weekend on Saturday, December 9th for the first-ever Krampusnacht (Krampus Night)! This event will capture the spirit of old world European Krampus celebrations, full of good natured fun, a few scares, food, shopping, children’s activities and even a visit from St. Nick himself!
There will be a traditional Krampus parade, Costume Contest, story time in the park, creative opportunities, a Misfit Market of vendors, photos with Krampus, games for all ages, music, warming stations and delicious food and drink merchants. And don’t forget, our Old Town shops will be ready to welcome you with Krampus sales and specials, just in time for the Holiday Season!
