What We Do

Event space rental in a gorgeous industrial space with warm brick and lighting. Versatile space that works for weddings, company events, galas, parties, and more. We offer a great deal of free amenities, including a photo booth and more.

History and Growth

W.E.D has been in business for 25 years. We began with a focus on DJ services and event planning, and grew to offer florals, decor, and photo booth services. We recently stopped offering mobile services in order to focus all out attention on Copper Moon - our event venue where you can utilize some or all of these services.

Winners of multiple Knot and Wedding Wire awards - and we are in The Knot Hall of Fame.

Why did you start this business?

"We have desired our own venue for many years. After seeing the good, and sometimes the truly bad for over two decades, we knew exactly what type of venue we wanted to create and how to make a truly special and stress-free day for our clients."

How do you define success?

"Getting to do what you absolutely love. This has been our dream for many years, and we are thankful every single day - even when we are incredibly busy - for getting to do the work that we love."

Why did you choose Old Town?

"We have often thought of Old Town as the coolest neighborhood in Lansing. We are still surprised that we have been so fortunate as to find a space here - we feel truly blessed."
