Self Guided Historic Walking Tour

Brochure—Self Guided Historic Walking Tour brochures are available in the Old Town Commercial Association office at 1232 Turner Street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pick up a brochure and follow your imagination to what Lansing's first settlement was like in the 1800s.

MP3—Self Guided Historic Walking Tour is available for download below. Let the Old Town arrows be your guide and peruse at your own pace, stopping at all the fabulous shops along the way. Walking tour begins at the Brenke Fish Ladder in Burchard Park, just South of Cesar Chavez Plaza (formerly Lot 56).

The Old Town Commercial Association is happy to schedule walking tours for groups of visitors throughout the year. This is an opportunity to provide a firsthand look at the development of Old Town and have the information tailored to your interests and abilities. Team Building Scavenger Hunt

Looking for a unique team-building event? Set up a scavenger hunt with the Old Town Commercial Association. We will fill you in on the history of Old Town then send you off to scour the historic district for answers to the Old Town Scavenger Hunt. The team that works the best together and makes it back to our office first will win some old town swag. Kid-Friendly Walking Tours

Self Guided Scavenger Hunt—A kid-friendly Scavenger Hunt worksheet is available to download below or you can pick one up in the OTCA office at 1232 Turner St. Follow the clues to discover Lansing's history and unscramble the letters at the end to decipher the secret code. OTCA staff is also available to guide large groups of students through the hunt and further explain landmarks along the way.
