Favorites Café opened just a little over a year ago on November 12, 2010. Owner Kim Robertson is happy to say she loves being in Old Town. "I fell in love with the location and the building. It was just perfect," said Robertson. Her husband John actually had the original dream of opening a business.  After Kim saw the space and the community she knew her café would come alive. Being in business for one year, Kim is happy to say the restaurant is doing well and enjoys serving her family recipes.

Redhead Design Studio is proud to announce they have won four 2011 MarCom Awards. The MarCom Awards are an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Over 6,000 pieces were entered from the United States, Canada and several other countries. The MarCom Awards is the largest award program of it’s kind in the world. Redhead’s awards included:Platinum Award—Trend in Emerging Talent Report (for Capital Area Michigan Works!)

Each year dedicated Old Town volunteers and board members strive to create the most vibrant community for businesses and residents alike. Though many of the services that our organization provides is geared toward the betterment of the community as a whole, a handful of the most visible services is set aside for members of the organization. Though the OTCA has several funding streams, none are more important than the membership dues that are collected each year, growing grassroots support, identifying stakeholders, and ensuring the sustainability of the organization.

Redhead Design Studio is excited to announce that their logo design for LeBon Macaron was chosen to be included in the LogoLounge Volume 7 compilation book. The judging process for this new book was competitive, with over 36,000 logos entered for consideration. The work was also chosen for by an international panel of judges.
