Business Spotlight: Absolute Gallery

Kathy Holcomb started Absolute Gallery in 2003 with the intention of making it a custom framing service. She quickly realized the opportunity in the growing Old Town District to sell unique handcrafted items. Personal relationships have been developed with all of the artisans she represents. She can give you the background and stories behind many of the pieces she sells.

Kathy has a deep commitment to supporting the local community. She regularly donates goods, services and support to mental health services, school art programs, foster programs and the Capital Area Humane Society. Some of the art is created by people with mental and physical challenges.

Absolute Gallery has been awarded numerous custom picture frame design awards. Kathy is constantly improving her skills through attendance of international art and framing shows. She is truly an expert at art preservation and “do no harm” techniques.

Her 15 years of retail success has been based on a deep commitment to providing high quality unique items at a fair price, an impeccable commitment to service, and a commitment to supporting local and regional artists.

Stop in and have fun exploring the exceptionally wide range of items she carries including jewelry, fine art pieces and incredible craft pieces. It is a living and breathing entity that is always changing. And if you have a treasure that deserves a special framing, there isn’t a better framing service in Lansing.
