It’s time to deck yourself in holiday running gear again as the Old Town Commercial Association hosts the 11th annual Scrooge Scramble 5K Run/Walk on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. The course starts in Old Town and takes you along the Lansing River Trail, where you may see a few of your favorite holiday characters racing beside you.

Early registration is $25 per person if you sign up by Nov. 24. Standard registration after Nov. 24 is $30. Registration is available on race day with cash only. Packet pickup will be available on race day starting at 8 a.m. inside Sir Pizza Grand Cafe on the corner of Turner St. and Grand River Ave.

If you don’t feel like racing but want to take part, you can volunteer! You can help us check in racers, be a course marshal or help with the festivities at the finish line. Click here to volunteer.

Thank you to Playmakers and our sponsors Jackson National Life and LightSpeed for making this event possible!
