Sept. 2 was the first MSU football game of the season, and some in Old Town like to cheer on the Spartans. For those who don’t know, there are several places right here in town where you can likely catch the game (depends on who’s broadcasting). If you like to watch football with a cold brew in hand, but also love Old Town, then consider hanging out at one of these great local spots:
– Ozone’s Brewhouse: the newest member of the Old Town bar and restaurant family, Ozone’s has everything you could want to sit and enjoy a game…a TV, great beer and that small feel of a hometown bar.
– Meat: that holiest of carnivorous food palaces also has a great TV hanging over the bar. Catching a game here is easy, whether they run out of pulled pork or not you can always enjoy a carnivore pour.
– Zoobie’s: with the weather likely to stay nice into the fall, Zoobie’s patio may just be the coolest spot in town to yell Go Green, Go White. The TV is embedded in their outdoor bar, so it depends on the weather, but the patio also comes with tailgate games and great pizza.
