Oktoberfest Recap

The 9th annual Old Town Oktoberfest was a big hit!

Mid-Michigan’s largest German Oktoberfest included German themed food, music and Oktoberfest-style beer! Participants received a souvenir stein and had the chance to taste a number of different beers on tap.

The weather was chilly on both Friday and Saturday, but that didn’t keep Lansing residents from having a great time eating, drinking and dancing the night away.

Over the weekend more than 4,000 people came to Old Town to participate in this event and our food vendors proved to be enjoyed by everyone.

We had over 250 volunteers come out to help make sure the event ran smoothly and we would like to thank each and every one of them for their help!

Our volunteers continue to help Old Town grow while meeting new people along the way. If you are interested in volunteering to help plan this festival or one of Old Town’s many other festivals click here to send us an email and let us know. We are already looking forward to next year’s Oktoberfest. Thanks again to all who were involved!
