The Old Town General Store One-Year Anniversary Celebration!

The Old Town General Store is Celebrating its First Anniversary on June 14, 2014 from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Over the past year, Lansing residents looking for fresh, healthy, locally produced food and Michigan-themed gifts have come to the Old Town General Store.

Owner Rhea Van Atta purchased the building at 408 E. Grand River in the summer of 2013. The Old Town General Store is a harbor for reasonably priced, healthy groceries and a hub of community and events and activities. The courtyard behind the store offers a space to experience music, art and a summer Concerts in the Courtyard series.

In celebration, enjoy music by local artists including Ben Hassenger, Pat Malloy, Gina Garner, Cindy McElroy, Mike Bass and Aaron Pride. Michigan food companies including Joseph Wesley Tea, AG Chocolates, Stone Circle Bread, McClary Bros Drinking Vinegars, Tirrell Cheese and Cousin Mary Jane Hemp Snacks will be on hand to talk about their products with a variety of samples to taste and try.

Rhea and her staff look forward to serving area workers and residents, as well as being a destination for people in and around all of Greater Lansing.
