Mighty Uke Day comes to Old Town Lansing

Tiny Goat Films, the producer of the award-winning documentary MIGHTY UKE, and the Lansing Area ukulele community announce MIGHTY UKE DAY in Lansing on Saturday, May 5 as part of the MIGHTY UKE ROADSHOW tour.

MIGHTY UKE DAY in Lansing is an extremely unique festival that brings together film, live performances, ukulele workshops, open mic, children’s activities, strum-alongs and jams and a special MIGHTY UKE ukulele give-away.

All events will be held in historic and picturesque Old Town Lansing at various locations including Elderly Instruments, Sir Pizza Grand Café, The Mustang and Gallery 1212. Up-to-date information is available on the Mighty Uke Day website, www.mightyukeday.com and Facebook.

The Mighty Uke Day concert will feature headliner Lil’ Rev, The Fabulous Heftones, Gerald Ross,

Magdalen Fossum, and The Ukulele Kings. The Lansing Area Ukulele Group, along with other local and regional ukulele strumming groups, will also join the festivities.

Tickets are: $12 for the movie showings, $18 for the concert, or $25 for the movie/concert package.
