It’s June and the historic Turner-Dodge House is getting geared up for its summer season! Explore the warm friendly environment, visit the past and see how Lansing became the Capital City.
Summer Camps at the Turner-Dodge begin this month with exciting topics for kids of all ages:
Fairy Tale Camp is for ages 5 to 10 and runs Monday, June 13 – Wednesday, June 15.
Biology Camp is for ages 9 to 14 and runs Monday, June 20- Wednesday, June 22.
Civil War Camp is for ages 7 to 14 and runs Monday, June 27- Wednesday, June 29.
All camps go from 10a.m. to 2:30p.m. and cost $25 for Lansing residents and $30 for non-Lansing residents.

Children’s Fairy Time happens on Saturday, June 18 from 10a.m. to noon. Children can bring their mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, or other special adult and enjoy a morning of fairy time stories, games, and crafts. Tea, punch, and cookies will be provided. Guests will also take a tour of the mansion and gardens. Victorian Tea happens on Saturday, June 18 at 3p.m. This tea is geared toward families and adults. A vintage woodwind quartet will be performing as guests enjoy tea and other treats on the grand front porch. Cost for each tea time is $8 and you can reserve you spot by calling 517-483-4220.
Fashion Exhibit: May 11- Friday August 26
The Victorian Fashion Exhibit continues this month and displays clothing ranging from bridal wear, children clothing, ladies dresses and much more. Visiting hours are Tuesday– Friday from 10a.m. to 5p.m. Call ahead to make sure the space is available.
