The Old Town Commercial Association (OTCA) has a new neighbor! Wild Rose Café is located in the space that was formerly Mama Bear’s Café. Wild Rose Café officially opened its doors on April 18.
Wild RoseCafé is open from 7am-8pm with lunch and dinner specials offered daily. If you’re ever in the mood for an omelet during the evening, Wild RoseCafé can take care of that craving as they will be serving breakfast all day, as well. If you want something more filling, try a burger or build your own sub! According to owner Alex Wilder, customers have even said the café makes some of the best burgers in town.
What may surprise you about Alex is his age – he is only 19 years old. After obtaining culinary experience through the Art Institute in Novi, he set out to be his own boss. With the help of his father and cousin, Alex’s dream has now become a reality.
Originally from Charlotte, Michigan, Alex chose to open his Café in Old Town because he has a passion for art and thought the community would be the perfect place to make his start. So when you have hankering for a tasty meal, stop by 1224 Turner Street and welcome Wild Rose Café to the neighborhood. For more information, visit www.wildroseonline.com or “like” them on Facebook.
